Ras Mohammed National Park

Ras Mohammad is a national park in Egypt at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, overlooking the Gulf of Suez to the west and the Gulf of Aqaba to the east. In 1983, the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency established the area as a marine reserve for the protection of marine and terrestrial wildlife. The park was also established to protect against the urban sprawl of Sharm El Sheikh and other coastal developments.

The park is located in the tourist region of the Red Sea Riviera, located 12 km from the city of Sharm El Sheikh. The park covers an area of ​​480 km², which includes 135 km² of surface and 345 km² of surface on the water.

Herbs and spices are the most popular products in Sharm, and the Old Market has oodles of them! Shop keepers are very kind and generally able to justify and haggle.

Na'ama Bay

In Sharm el-Sheikh, Na’ama Bay is the hub of all the activity. Consider spending your sunbathing sessions here if you are looking for a fun, relaxing day on the beach, close to all the action.
